Camp Properties

Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines offers girls the chance to explore the environment at any of our six council camps. The camps host a variety of unique activities including a climbing tower, a swimming pool, canoeing, sailing, hiking, outdoor cooking, and more.

Camp Graham in Vance County is made up of 155 acres located on the edge of Kerr Lake. The location makes it perfect for canoeing, swimming, and sailing throughout the summer and fall. Tents, cabins, and an open-air amphitheater make this a popular camping spot. Camp Graham hosts resident and group camp during the summer months and troop camping during the school year.

Camp Hardee southeast of Washington on the south side of the Pamlico River, consists of 95 acres with river frontage, woodlands, and open space. Individual campers enjoy archery, volleyball and other sports, swimming, canoeing, sailing, and horseback riding among other favorite camp activities.

The Homestead Girl Scout Camp in Franklin County consists of approximately 110 acres of rolling land, evenly balanced between open fields and woodlands. The site was an old homestead for many years, with only a tobacco barn and old cemeteries remaining. The Homestead features nine tree houses, archery range, team challenge course, high ropes course, and climbing wall.

Camp Mary Atkinson in Johnston County consists of 262 wooded acres of land. Camp facilities include hiking trails, a swimming pool, a lake, and a challenge-by-choice climbing tower. Tents, cabins, and sports fields round out this well-utilized property’s amenities. Camp Mary Atkinson hosts resident camp during the summer months and troop camping during the school year.

Camp Mu-Sha-Ni in Richmond County covers 843 acres of land and includes tents and cabins for camping and a Troop House. A lake for swimming and a separate pond for fishing combined with natural trails and a low ropes course make this a beautiful spot for outdoor exploration.

Camp Pretty Pond in Brunswick County southeast of Wilmington offers swimming, volleyball and other sports, canoeing, archery, crafts, and much more. Girls enjoy a myriad of activities placed along the continuous, paved path that runs throughout the camp.
